LS Shaft Thrust

LOW SPEED SHAFT THRUST CAPACITIES

Low speed shaft thrust loads are limited by the life of the tapered roller bearings. These values are for pure thrust in either direction (without additional radial overhung loading) and allow a minimum of 25,000 hour average life with AGMA #4 oil at 120^o F bearing temperature. Cooler temperatures and/or thicker oil will increase the bearing life. If higher thrust loads are required other than are shown in the TL Series Low Speed Shaft Thrust Capacities table below, contact the Dorris Company.
